Think of this as a vacation day. Whether or not you have to work won't matter. Just this once, you'll have some actual help. That is, instead of carrying the entire workplace by yourself, your compatriots will do their part. They may even do as much today as you think they should do every day. Once you're over the shock, you'll enjoy the freedom all this allows you -- and if you're smart, you should take the evening off from overtime too. Why not celebrate?
